to Next October
Insignito is honored to participate in the Next October initiative by dedicating our company to the memory of Major Amir Manzhor Naim. The initiative pairs innovative Israeli startups with the memory of those who lost their lives on October 7 and in the war that followed, ensuring their legacy continues through the creation of technologies that strengthen society and improve the world.
As we advance acoustic technology to help protect lives from emerging threats, we are proud to carry Amir’s name and memory forward. His courage and commitment to protecting others serve as a lasting inspiration for our team and our mission.
On October 7, 2023, Major Amir Manzhor Naim gave his life defending Kibbutz Erez from the Hamas terrorist attack. As a member of the kibbutz's rapid response team, Amir and his fellow defenders confronted dozens of heavily armed terrorists, preventing a massacre and saving the lives of the kibbutz's residents.
When Amir passed away, he left behind his wife, Shachar, who was two months pregnant at the time. Today, they have a son, Rafael, an amazing and intelligent child who never had the chance to know his father.
Amir was a people person, and after his family, the most important thing in his life was his friends. He had many friends of different ages, and helping those in need was simply a way of life for him.
Amir embodied courage, selflessness, and an unwavering commitment to protecting others. His legacy continues to inspire all who strive to build a safer future. May his memory be a blessing.
